Mission of the MCC

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Minority Construction Council, Inc. shall be to promote the health and viability of minority owned construction firms in the State of Connecticut and to:

improve the image, financing and communication for minorities in the construction industry

increase minority contractors access to potential construction projects,

encourage and promote professionals standards for minority

provide technical assistance to new and emerging minority contractors, and

provide a forum for minority contractors to find solutions to problems encountered in their business.

Our core mission is to ensure through advocacy the equitable distribution of construction project opportunities for all qualified minority contractors. We at the MCC make consistent, measurable contributions to our members. Our goal is to develop a long-term relationship with the membership and those in charge of private and public sector Construction Projects. We base our diligent efforts on transparency and our expertise and integrity to be that one cohesive resource for all minority contractors. We believe it’s more important to honor a commitment than it is to just make one. The MCC strives to earn trust and respect in every relationship. What is paramount to the MCC is a devoted, professional, long-lasting relationship with our most important asset -- our membership and those construction projects that we serve.
